The beach
The sea is just a few minutes away: the private beach, lying in the evocative Fontanella Bay, is only 80 metres from the Hotel and easily reachable by lifts with panoramic views. Or, if preferred, the beach can be reached by foot or by sea.
Comfort and privacy are assured at the beach, which is well equipped with parasols, sun-loungers and swim towels. The bar is within easy reach.
Beyond the wooden decking at the sides of the beach club, the water is two metres deep. It is safe to dive from the decking; alternatively, guests can use the steps to get into the sea. The water beyond the central part of the beach club (the sandy part) is much shallower. For around ten metres from the shore, the water comes up to waist level. As on the other parts of the beach, the sea bed is sandy here; there are no rocks or stones. It is completely safe for children, and this is the best area for them.
There is no charge for using the beach for our guests.
The swimming pools
Those who prefer can take a dip in the sea water of the Hotel's two swimming pools amidst the lush vegetation and splendid views of the Gulf of Porto Azzurro.
The child's pool is equipped with hydro-massage and a cascading fountain.
Our hotel offers deck chairs, umbrellas, relaxing area and a bar.
Sport & Fun
From June 6th. to September 14th. our hotel offers, respecting the offered service, a 'soft' daily entertainment with a large choice of mostly sportive activities.
Sporty types face an embarrassment of riches with a cardio-fitness gym, tennis courts, also open at night, and a multi-purpose sports field for volleyball and five-a-side football.
Those who wish to discover the hidden face of the island of Elba can jump on a mountain bike, take to the sea by motorboat, yacht or kayak or put themselves in the skilled hands of a sub-aqua centre where they can admire and marvel at the world under the waves.
